Slovak Conversation Groups Schedule for 2020

DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK, ALL CONVERSATION GROUPS ARE POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Listed below are the scheduled dates for Slovak conversation groups in downtown DC, Arlington and Reston for March and beyond.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Each group will find its own level, based on the language abilities of the participants. There could even be a little teaching/explanation to help those who are studying the language on their own. We hope this will inspire students of the language to brush up on their grammar and vocabulary.

All three locations are very easily accessible by Metro. When you come to each venue, look for a familiar face or the little Slovak table flag.

Washington, DC

The group will meet at 6:30pm, on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11, September 8, October 13, November 10).

Arlington (Ballston), VA

Meet toward the back.

The group will meet at 6:30pm, on the 4th Thursday of the month (March 26, April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24, October 22).

Reston, VA

Exit the Metro station to the north (turn left after you go through the gate) and follow the overpass. Starbucks is on the left, just past the building site. The Metro parking garage is free on weekends, but the commercial parking garage next door is NOT free. The shop is small, so just look around for the group.

The group will meet at 1:30 pm, on the 3rd Saturday of the month (March 21, April 18, May 16, June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21)
