Café Night – Scholarship Fundraiser – Sunday, November 5, 2017

The Slovak American Society of Washington, DC is holding its fourth annual Café Night at Bistro Bohem (www.bistrobohem.com) to raise scholarship funds for Slovak students attending VSM/City University in Slovakia. 

Since 1996, the SASW has raised nearly $40,000 and funded partial tuition scholarships for over 50 students in financial need. 

There will be live Gypsy swing music performed by Orchester Praževica (www.prazevica.com) with no cover charge and authentic Central European dishes, regional beers, and liquors available for purchase. 

Donations to SASW’s scholarship fund are encouraged and appreciated.

Bistro Bohem is located at 600 Florida Avenue, NW, Washington, DC, a short 5 minute walk from the Shaw-Howard Metro Station. The event will be held between 6-9 pm.
