Slovak Museum Construction Appeal

Members and Friends of SASW,

In December 2021, the SASW sent $500 to support construction work on the Kasigarda – Museum of Emigration from Slovakia to North America in eastern Slovakia (in the village of Ťahyňa).

The museum’s director, Dr. Martin Javor, has requested additional funds to install water and sewage pipes in the museum, to enable the museum to house two Ukrainian families fleeing the fighting. The SASW has sent an additional $750 for this construction work.

SASW members and friends, who would like to lend further support to this effort, are invited to contribute by:

1) Sending checks to: SASW, P.O. Box 2502, Springfield, VA 22152-2502; or

2) Sending online funds through PayPal to SASW’s PayPal account at treasurer@dcslovaks.org.

Indicate ‘Slovak Museum Construction’ on your contributions and PLEASE mail or send contributions by Friday, April 15, 2022.
