About the Society
The Slovak American Society of Washington, D.C. was established in 1988 as a social, cultural, and educational institution for Slovak-Americans and friends of Slovakia. The Society sponsors several Slovak social and cultural events in the Washington metropolitan area throughout the year. Society events include:
The Society also sponsors local lectures on Slovak culture, dance troupes, musical, and cultural events.
Membership
Family membership $15/year
Individual membership $10/year
Membership includes a newletter on upcoming events in the Washington metropolitan area and other articles of interest.
